Meet Recap

The 2016 Varsity Boys Cross Country season started off under the “moonlite” in Montgomery. The meet was so distinctively different than most of the meets because it was run at night instead of the day. The night air would bring a field that consisted of many teams from around the greater Houston area. The Falcons team was led by senior, Christian Rogers, who finished with a time of 18:42. That was good enough for 33rd place. Rogers was followed by another senior, Ulysses Rodriguez, who finished with a time of 19:40 and a 56th place finish. Seniors Mackenzie Patterson and Oscar Pena as well as sophomore Kamryn Charles would close out the scoring. Next week the team will complete in Huntsville at the UIL Region 3 Preview.
