Falcons News · Notary Time for 2020-21 School Year

ATTENTION ALL JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL PARENTS AND ATHLETES:

Time is closing in on the end of our school year.  But for the Athletic & Sports Medicine Departments, our new school year is already getting started.

Our annual Notary Nights and Physical Day are fast approaching.  The notary nights have been set for April of 2020.  The dates are as follows:

April 1, 15, 16, & 23

The Notary Nights will be held in the Bill Neal Center (BNC) from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on the designated nights.  Each athlete will have a new “Athletic Packet” to complete.  The parent MUST accompany the athlete and bring the two proofs of residence  and a valid ID for the notary portion.

The online packet will be available on March 2.  Once you complete the online segments, you will then print out the 4 pages for the notary.  You may use the link below to access the portal.

We will once again offer physicals here at our facility (BNC) on Tuesday, May 19.  We will have a doctor on site to perform physicals for any junior high and high school athlete.  The cost is $20.00 and must be paid on the Notary Night. We will provide a bus from each junior high to the BNC for all athletes that have a notarized packet and paid the $20.00 fee.  High school athletes will come over during the athletic period or immediately after school.  All parents will be required to pick up the athlete from the BNC at the conclusion of the physical.    Parents should take advantage of this opportunity and convenience.  This will eliminate missed school or work to visit a doctor and it will ensure that your child is cleared for participation for the 20-21 school year.

Even if your child is unsure about participating, do it anyway to avoid a “crisis” when your child decides to play and is told he or she is not clear.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to a successful 20-21 school year.
